The next thing I had to do was put a French drain around the entire house. I had to shovel graven all around, then install 4" tubes that have holes in the top. Here I'm sawing a piece to size, then I glue an 90 degree elbow piece to shoot it around the corner. Since the house is right on the side of a big hill, the idea of this drain is that any water than migrates down to the house will find it's way into these tubes and be drained away to the front of the house. The tubes gradually slope from a high point in the back all the way round to the front where it drains further down the hill.
