The Ground Plumbing
From the front where the pipe comes out of the ground I had to run the pipe under the center of the center portion of the house. You can see I had to set posts into the ground to support the pipe and make sure it sloped the 1/4" per foot. And, of course, make sure all the joints were glued tight. I also had to screw metal straps over the pipe to the posts to keep it from moving. Apparently, if you don't do that, the pipes shake as the water passes through - the main reason for noisy plumbing. |
