Of course, you can spend more than $30,000 on finishes and that's the beauty of buying this house as-is.  You get to finish it according to your tastes.

Cost to finish:
$15,000 for flooring. I recommend tiling of the entire house to maximize the efficiency of the radiant heating system.
$6,000 for painting (the entire house is already primed). Just need to select final colors.
$3,000 to finish Master Bath
$6,000 for front deck, driveway, some landscaping and misc.

Financing:
